Integration

Make it last.

Follow-through happens in daily life: in your relationships, your habits, and the patterns that shape how you move through the world.

The ongoing process

What is integration?

Integration is the ongoing process of turning your plant medicine experience into meaningful, embodied change, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

At Ananda Lodge, we believe the immersion is not the destination, but the beginning of a return to yourself. Integration starts before the immersion, as you prepare your mind, heart, and body for the work ahead. It continues afterward, as you learn to relate differently to your patterns, stories, and daily choices.

This process is not a quick fix, nor is it just about recounting what happened during the ceremony. Real integration lives in your body and behavior. It shifts how you show up in your relationships, your work, and your life. It's what allows insight to become how you live.

Comprehensive and robust C.A.R.E.

We walk beside you the whole way.

Ananda Lodge is different because of the depth and continuity of our preparation and integration process. All of your sessions before, during, and after the immersion are one-on-one with an experienced guide. This allows an intimate and trusting relationship to unfold, rooted in deep presence and personalized care.

Purposeful Preparation

Integration begins when you commit. Before you come to Costa Rica, you will have up to 3 one-on-one preparation sessions, depending on your needs.

Intimate Immersion

We believe in intimate plant medicine experiences that support each individual's unique process. Onsite, you will participate in 2 one-on-one integration sessions to immediately understand your plant medicine experience.

Intentional Integration

Real change unfolds over time. Like a seedling becoming a plant, the process asks for patience, compassion, and attuned support: 3 one-on-one sessions with your integration specialist over 3 months.

The long game

The immersion is only the beginning.

The ceremony is the catalyst. What you do after is where follow-through lives. Many people come to plant medicine hoping for a single moment that changes everything, but what makes it last is how you live with what you've discovered.

The insights that emerge during ceremony are seeds: potent, beautiful, and full of potential. They require nurturing, tending, and the right conditions to grow. We help you create those conditions, to reframe your expectations and approach the experience with grounded intention.

Integration is the long and hard work. It's in the choices you make when you're tired, the way you speak to yourself when you're alone, and the relationships you build as you continue healing. This isn't about chasing peak experiences, it's about learning to live with more awareness, clarity, and connection every day.

“This journey provided me with direction that I had never received before in traditional therapy. I have seen psychologists and psychiatrists. I have taken prescription meds for anxiety and depression. I have also pursued many physical and spiritual modalities to try and heal parts of me and my life where I've been challenged. Many of those experiences were a waste of time and money because I was not committed or open-minded, but they were not holistic approaches.”
